We're being offered the Moderna as a booster here in Wales as the first jabs were either the AstraZeneca, or Pfizer.I didn't accept mine because I had an allergic reacton to a medication I was taking and two of the suspect ingredents are also additves in the mRNA vaccines.
I can only hope that having had covid symptoms back in the days before even Alpha, being double vaccinated with the AstraZeneca and being fairly isolated, that I can ride out Omicron, despite underlying health issues.
It was a tough decision and I would have preferred to have been better informed about my individual circumstances than I was.

I had a first jab in January. It made me ill for a couple of days but since then I,ve been plagued with sinus and ear infections. It's been impossivle to leave the house without at least one packet of tissues. This carried on all through Spring , Summer and Autmn. I refused to get anther jab till it was sorted out but despite a couple of courses of antibiotics the problem has continued.But, here's the thing it's cleared up completely, no runny nose, no cattarrh no bleeding sinuses.....sinceI tested positive for covid last weekend. I feel so much better as far as my breathing goes, even my sore throat, the main sympton I had with covid has cleared up....I'm baffled.
