Is the cure for our 7.5% inflation higher prices and more government spending? Let's build back better and see 20% inflation. Should we support the over the road truckers?
Most Retirees in the USA won't see COLAs to keep up with inflation, never.

You seem to want more inflation and supply chain disruption. Blaming Biden is a useless proposition. Getting the truckers to do their job will improve the economic supply chain issue by delivering products they are sitting on. Reagan would have fired them all and replaced them - how far have we come that you are rooting for failure so you can claim 'victory'?!

Your man iden is responsible for our inflation, supply chain issues, and escalated crimes in the usa as well as hundreds of thousands of drug and covid caused deaths )not the truckers)

Btw, unlike FAA air traffic controllers truckers are, thankfully, not federal employees with cushy perks so 46 cant fire truckers.

support the truckers. things will get bad. government will keep trying to take power and project the problems onto the ones that stand up as the problem.

people and businesses(large corporation especially), will begin to suffer and thus make it easier for government to drive the lies home to many. i hope the people will project their troubles where they truly begin. against government policies.

after all, it's government policies that have driven up inflation. with that, ALL of the other rising costs as well. it's okay, the o'biden administration will make sure government employees get a nice pay increase. they'll rely on "good union" jobs to keep controlled labor costs every where else that will accept union controls.

the problem is; what jobs? the markets are slipping pretty bad. even the ones they killed and thought would come back bigly.

You ask alot of questions - a rambling rant of inconsistency.
If - what you say- the government is to blame---which government? Inflation; supply shortages; supply chain issues; labor shortages; increase oil costs - all are global issues that affect every country. Tell me: Which country is at fault? Which government infringed on your rights to 'freedom'?

president2525: .....'work to free up US supply'?
Do you understand how economics work? Are you suggesting the government - that government you rail against daily - take control of the private oil supply and release it at some artificial cost to the American public? You now sound like a Socialist.
The free enterprise system is working as designed. It is a global market. Supplies are controlled by a few countries and demand is high as we come out of the pandemic.
Go back and study the free market capitalist system before you make comments about Biden working to 'free up' US supply of anything. Our system is designed to keep government far away from decisions regarding supply and pricing of any product in the market. I guess you do things different on the rock you live on in New Zealand?
Our government regulates most things, not just oil productions in the usa. Look at all the rules and regulations for commerce, epa, human health, egg production, cattle slottering etc etc

Draegoneer: it is when you want to start a war and set the country up to fall. spending and selling the nation out, is just part of the plan to bring things down.
If destroying the US is Bidens plan I would say he is doing it well . The issue is he is driving inflation in other countries including mine , while helping our enemies .

sounds pretty similar to the fake leader he was vp for.

so glad the demonrats played their politics to get rid of a good leader to put their crap one in.

no job creation since they're trying to count the ones they put on hold or killed with their politics. with the policies they're pushing, won't be too many new ones any way. even if they do finally reach what was in place before they ruined it.

inflation and costs will continue for a while. don't worry. remember. this is building back better, at all costs, mainly to us. o'biden and cronies are the only ones that benefit. according to some that actually support the regime helping our enemies, things are better now.

Big difference between Obama and Biden . Ob took over at the worst time since 1929 while Biden at one if not the best times since then .

inflation and costs will continue for a while. <<<<< blatant optimism , there is no sight in end , it is still rising and expected to further . Worst expectations are double figures .

Oregon, along with several other states, is quickly becoming a cooperative-rent community. The price-gouging on residential leases went WAY over the top, disenfranchising hundreds of thousands of honest, hard-working people. (It was becoming a situation of only the rich being able to have a decent place to live…). I try to put myself in a property investors’ shoes, and I “get” it. However, a roof over one’s head is not elective, like jewelry or designer clothing, or even a sports car— it’s a human need everyone has, and it’s inappropriate to make it unavailable because of income. I’m a strong supporter of H.U.D., Sections 8 and 9, Council houses and flats, rent control. Think about the guy working full-time washing dishes and bussing tables. His entire monthly take-home pay won’t cover, or just covers, rent on an efficiency or studio. He doesn’t want to share housing or just get a room. He should be able to have a comfortable apartment that is affordable. If greedy property owners aren’t going to be fair, then I’m all for the government MAKING them be fair. Before you find fault with me for this, put yourself in a low-income person’s shoes- working hard 40+ hours a week and can’t even have an apartment? Totally and completely unfair…

I believe your description of housing issues there but if known demographics exists why did they build housing unaffordable for many. I can't put my feet in landlord shoes given those statistics. BUD housing sucks imho because it draws the worst types of people from p*dophile to drug dealers, convicts etc. that's a shame what you described. sigh
