Circlip: I still can't get used to "Circlip", and how ridiculous it sounds. If I'd known I was going to be here for this long I would have put more thought into choosing a name.

Well that's the joy been sucked out of the joy I felt today..Everything ... yes everything, is in your mind, no where else. The accolades that you think you need in order to feel appreciated are there, the rewards for making an effort are all in you. That is your responsibility.

self esteem is knowing you're ok
Needing others to appreciate you is a very different thing..it's actually imprinted in our DNA..so we will work together, and give of ourselves for the benefit of others/the greater good so the community will stay strong..remove that need for appreciation and society wll fall appart....oh...hang on...society is falling apart....I wonder why....

You talk in generalities, as if the truth of them is self evident, and needs no explanation. Things like "sending love out into the universe", and "self is just an illusion". It's just a stream of mantras with nothing to substantiate them. I mean, just pick out one of these ideas and make a rational case for accepting it as some kind of truth.------ This thread is Archived ------
