Most things the government does will make the inflation worse. However, Sunak is probably the smartest man in the government following the wisdom of let it be. Apart from the national insurance changes because a lot of people had been working a three-day week to avoid paying it but now they can work an extra day.

We've just got to grasp the nettle because the pain inflicted upon the great masses of the earth is enormous and we can't turn back the clock. If she was to live alone she'd be dead in few months, especially if she didn't have own property...
Gypsies are paid enormous amount of money for being Gypsies... Disabilities, illnesses, ten kids, social blah, blah...
And now our government is giving every Ukrainian 600 Euro a month cash...plus accommodation, health care, schooling...
I don't mind that at all but think of your own people first...
