Why did you join CS? (102)
Hi Jewel. I came on here to find love, which I did in 2009 at least on my part. It did not work. He passed away last year, but we maintained a friendship. At the moment still have connections with his family. Now living my singleness and happiness. Right now here for the poetry corner and maybe some other areas on this web. SM

I joined cs to chart new worlds, to go where no one has gone before, to meet all social challenges and have fun reading all the bs funny opinions in this media. Want to watch me dance... 
Because someone let me know that members of our old 60s group came here when Datehookup died. We had used it like social media and had friends on it. I avoid social media and learned that a free site like here is a safer way to see what the world is thinking about stuff. CS is more tightly monitored than other social media sites are so scammers and jerks are not tolerated if enough folks complain. Plus the only way anyone can run across stuff and reply is to be on site. As a recluse this is my link to the real world. And other countries and young folk.

Hi there, yup it's been here a while, still have loads of scammers, but they don't seem to carry on to long once ignored so that's good

Hi, we always have hope of finding them, but not many people seem to give people a chance, I think so many have been burnt or crushed to often and forget that others have to.I hope you find someone amazing here and I hope you give her a chance, remember we are all scared to give to much of ourselves to fast.

I know felt like that to, when my husband decided I was not enough and left.. I was waiting for the crushing pressure, it came but not as hard as I expected, and I realised that we were not meant to be forever..I don't know why I am on here now. This is "Connecting Singles", a place where you could meet someone special, but you need to try when you connect with someone who you could end up loving, isn't that the point?
It's sad that a lot of people Just seem to try and make others unhappy because they are, I wish people would take a chance and show others you can find wonder in someone else if you allow it.
