Truthfully, most people who are single after a certain age are single for a reason (me included). Its hard dating and finding the right match when you get past your teens and 20s. In the meantime, the man you are looking for is probably not going to be on a dating site like this one. Try going to say coffee houses, look for hobby groups, interest groups. He is out there, you just need to filter through a bit of crap to find him.

I know it is a cliche-but it is the truth- you must be happy with yourself first, if you are not happy with yourself and life first you cannot share happiness, this could be the reason you are being let down over and again.If you are looking for someone else to make you happy you will be sorely disappointed.
You don't seek happiness you make it, maybe get a good hobby or join outings with others with the same interest, never know where that will lead.

Some people will never get there as they have an image (unrealistic) of who they want to date.There is this older, over-weight, bald, stinky man who said women his age have cellulites so he don't want to date them.
He is happy to pay for a fantasy with ladies of the night.
That makes him happy, more power to him.
