Besides gasoline, those 3 food items are a good gage, as to how things are, because it's what most Americans eat, especially families.
There are sites, where you can find the prices by month, or even year, even the year you were born ... and compare them to today.

You folks have way too much time on your hands. If all you are concerned about is gas, bacon, milk and oranges - you need to turn off the television, get off the couch, and get a job.

Go here and see the cost of items over the past twenty years. Saves you some time so you can actually earn a living.......

If you can read a spreadsheet - here are the facts for your hypothetical survey.
Food is up 3.2% yearly; Gas is down 20% yearly; Fuel oil is down 26% yearly; Natural gas is down 13.5% yearly; while services is still rising 3%.

I know numbers tend to confuse even the most literate - inflation is slowing in all core product sectors while the added human labor costs are still rising. What that means is: Goods are falling in price; while wages are increasing and adding cost to those items where you have to pay someone to work.

Let's stay with the facts - I know you want another narrative - but if you tell the truth - you won't lose your way!

bidenomics. it's what's for killin' economies and creating more hardships.

most increases wouldn't have hit had it not been for the politics played during the plandemic. then the demonrats took control and all hell broke loose and they're still tryin' to spin it.

don't look for any breaks. as the economically challenged polices keep rolling in and the lies to cover it up keep pouring out.

quite frankly i remember how well the policies were working and how much easier living was before the politics of 2020 to now, were allowed to take root.

now over a million acres as a monument to add insult to injury. potentially worse for the locals in that area.

not entirely sure what the full range of farming and wild life will be hurt from that but it's going to once again, roll over onto all of us sooner rather than later. buckle up every one. things are going to continue to get even more expensive. bad policies affect us all.
