My humor has been kind've low at the moment, as I lost my mother right before Christmas.
I suppose that has something to do with why I've dipped my toe back in here...to maybe get my smile back and a laugh or two or three.

Sarasota was the last vacation I took with my mom about 6 years ago.
There was Red Tide and the stench in the air and dead fish on the beach made for a not so great time.
But I do have a great pic of my standing below the massive statue of the couple kissing and mom peering up her skirt.

My cat, Kiki, was diagnosed in August with sudden onset advance kidney disease.
I thought I was going to lose her then, but a new kidney function food has given her new spunkiness and although the disease won't go away, she has smashed through the 2 month diagnosis and every day she is still with me is a gift.
