I have had conversations and many laughs with women. things go along fine then....WHAM "you are how old "they ask.

I have the same issue, I look 30, I run, I work out, but I'm 40....

I find that I'm attracted to the really outgoing and fun loving types (since I'm a really hyper person myself), and most of those tend to be in the 28-32 age range, but when they ask my age, that's it, I'm out...

in a different perspective im younger and have dated older men, i dont think i would be compatible with the same age or younger, but the last man I dated was 36, we had very much in common and shared various stimulating conversations but what seemed to be the problem in my case was we didnt socialize very much in public which led to me being self concious and thought he was ashamed or emmbarrassed to join eavenings with his friends because i was younger and figured it was his way of avoiding being riddiculed by them. even though we intilectually were compatible did the underlying age have such an effect on social activity?

sometimes being younger can be just as complicated in relationships as being older.

For myself I will not date anyone younger than me or over than 41. I even have a very hard time dating someone my age even (I am 29) I have an age set up between 31 and 41.

Don't ask me why. Just had bad experiences with ages younger and older than that I guess. And again just a preference :)

Tracy :o)

I can't date guys my own age, and I'm totally attracted to men who are MUCH older than me. I think its genetic (ask my mom about it) hehe. I've never dated anyone my own age, and probably never will...

I would have to agree with most of you I can't date anyone my age or younger.(I'm 27) They just don't seem to have there sh*& together . Of corse this dosn't meen everyone but even growing up I always got along with older people better. My friends and parents say its from growing up on a farm I was always bussy and working at a verry young age and maybe I matured earlier but I don't know I think its just me. Maybe i'm just a nut job!

age isn't really an issue for me. Except if they were younger. And we can see why that's bad.

I believe that the accent was and is on youth. When I was 22 I thought 32 was old. I'm 60 but feel every age that I've been. Unfortunately I don't seem to matter to anyone under 50. It's natural I guess. Leo

I have dated younger, 24 when I hit 40. Then went two weeks and ended. Being single with a kid on a tight budget, she expected me to spend more cash than I could afford to. It was one experience that turned me away from younger women.
I have gone older, was 59 when we started talking and 61 when I flew her here. If she hadn't disappeared for two months after her father died, I wouldn't be here. Out of all the women (wasn't many) I have met while I had my oldest son with me, this is the only woman he actually liked.
Now, I'd rather have someone closer to my own age for the reason that we would have more in common and still be together say 20 - 30 years down the road :)

Ive all ways gone for slightly older, i like a certain type of maturity that only comes with age, it's like drinking a fine wine.

I have dated a guy 14 years my junior, really wouldn't go there again. Seem to get on better with guys nearer my age, but not older.

as long it is love ..why should there be a problem...right. Cant be uptight on this you might just miss out on what you should want or desire.

I've dated guys who were ten years younger than me and I think that's my lower limit.

But now, after checking out the dating pool, guys my age (56) and ten years older or even older are looking more attractive to me.

Every age has a different quality that is appealing...you need to find the age group that has what you are looking for...whether you're in that group or not...
