if a persons sole source of companionship depends on internet dating sites... then try the real world. the people you are finding here, come from the real world so dont be surprised when you find them there as well. it goes both ways and both genders are no less better one from the other, i am very sorry to say. it is just my opinion here, but if i never find true love on sites like this, but do find true friends... i will count my blessings and be thankful for them... no matter how many losers i go through in finding them. if i find true love, then i will be very thankful for it will be a true miracle. nothing wrong with venting, and i have no doubt that you have good reason for it, but my experience has been that this is true in both the cyber and real worlds. best of luck to you in your search
I am real as they get Ive been dating a guy from my area since Sept.We have seen each other almost everynight.Hes a wonderful man.Nothing phony about him.It might help u to be phony, since ur so charming to everyone on here.
This occurs in real life as well. I mean, if we could get rid of all the fakes and phonies in my neck of the woods, I bet one could drive up the 405 at the posted speed limit. During rush hour.
well thank you eric..im 100% sure im real, but since your on the otherside of my computer am sure its hard to competely tell. in regards to your last comment, im not going to touch that one as im not 100% sure what your implying..
Here is one lady that has an interest in meeting someone!
I think we should talk about the guys who are "pretenders and time wasters."
I met a guy through this site. We sent messages back and forth, then we spoke on the phone a couple of times. We made plans to get together and he never showed up. He sent me a message a few days later saying his dad was in the hospital. I responded, sending best wishes for his dad and asking him to call me sometime. I have sent him a few messages over the past week and although he is reading my messages, he is not responding.
I understand that he may still be working through his father being sick, but why ignore my messages. If he can take the 10 seconds to open the message, why not take 10 seconds to respond, even if it is something like "I am dealing with a lot of family stuff and I don't have time to get to know someone right now."
Maybe I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does. The whole situation just hurts. I was really looking forward to getting to know this guy.
I agree with you TrueNorth, but it is not just women!
