Kevduf is correct. He is not Muslim and until he moved to Chicago after law school he was not really associated with any church. He is a member of a very well know Church of Christ church in the Chicago area. He did not join when he decided to run for president, contrary to what some say, but has been a member for many years.

I do think it is important to do research before making such erroneous statements; however, if you agree with a candidate's platform am not sure whether him being a muslim or Christian should determine the vote. We are not talking radical muslims anyway. I am from MN and we elected the first Muslim to the U.S. House of Representatives last year -- Christians, Jews, Muslims and more voted for him because of what he stands for, not his religion.

Lots of talk about his religion, and if he was muslim, don't you think he would either down play or flat out lie about it under the circumstances?
Sounds like we are going to have a run off between Obama (who seems to only be addressing the issue of whether he is black enough or too black to be elected, which is so much crap, and very little about his real policies, so who even knows what we would be getting in office) and Huckabee (who wants to give what little there is left of this country over to the illegal immigrants).
Might be a very minimal turn out with no candidate worth the price of gas to get to the polls LOL much less one that most of us could support.
Ticks me off that these "parties" decide who runs instead of the people.
