Coming home from work and my children run screaming into my arms with the warmest welcome I will ever know. And then remembering how long they were waiting as I was late...
sitting on the bleachers at my sons ball game and watching an old couple his arms wrapped around her while cheering on their grandson... thinking thats what i want some day!!
Up until a few years ago, I made it a point to try and be home every Saturday. On Saturday's, I would go and get my grandmother out of the assisted living home for a day out. Our first stop every Saturday was Dairy Queen so I could get her an ice cream. She loved her ice cream. I still miss her.
Whenever my granddaughter ( who is 4 yo) wants to talk to me seriously, she will look into my eyes and put her hand across my cheek and pull my cheek toward her to talk it may be serious to her or it may be silly but it is also sooo sweet.

An Easter Morning- a VERY long time ago. I awkened very early and went outside , sat on a hillside overlooking my home and the river and watched the sunrise, while contemplating the gift of Christ's sacrifice.

I'm getting ready for a house guest...
painting & cleaning. I'm listening to amazing Russian acoustic guitar and feeling warm, despite the chill.

Enjoy...!
