sitting on the bleachers at my sons ball game and watching an old couple his arms wrapped around her while cheering on their grandson... thinking thats what i want some day!!

I'm too old, or perhaps too jaded, to feel warm fuzzies. Or so I thought.
I had a wonderful chat this afternoon with an equally wonderful woman. My world was a little smaller, my life not as bad as I sometimes make it seem.
For the first time in a long time, I could feel myself smiling inside...

Up until a few years ago, I made it a point to try and be home every Saturday. On Saturday's, I would go and get my grandmother out of the assisted living home for a day out. Our first stop every Saturday was Dairy Queen so I could get her an ice cream. She loved her ice cream. I still miss her.

Whenever my granddaughter ( who is 4 yo) wants to talk to me seriously, she will look into my eyes and put her hand across my cheek
