Dusty45: If you are serious...spend 20 to 30 minutes in silence in the morning and then the evening, before bedtime. That would mean - no reading, tv, talking, listening to music - nothing.

Do spend time in nature.

There are answers to your questions - within.
There is a literally a guide, the essence, your soul that has answers to all your questions.
One just has to listen to that voice inside. Another term would be called your 'intuition'.

Many have lost touch with this voice, but, it's there for all of us.

'No reading, tv, talking, listening to music-nothing.

But also no thinking.
You have to shut down the ceaseless chat of
your mind to hear that voice inside.

Not as easy as it first seems.

If you like to live without the Conveniences and Modern Medicine, let an infected Appendix kill you,or some other Infection do you in,because that will become a Real Possibility.

If you can do with less,Hat off to you.

ashoka: How can man get back to the real nature of mankind in this cybernatic and self-alienated era?
go camping for about a month, only do not take any modern conviences like your laptop, cell phone, radio, t.v., no cooler & ice, no food, (gotta live off the land), you need to have someone drive you miles & miles into the wilderness & drop you off so you don't even have a vehicle. see how long you would last.

LOL you may want to look up some information on what are eatable plants, and how to build a shelter ect... perhaps do this on the internet before unpluging yourself from the world.
We as humans are domesticated and not prepared to just dive back into nature. We spent the last million years crawling out of nature.

Someone else mentioned camping - a great idea for getting back in touch with Mother Nature. Also what I like to do, weather permitting, is to go to a local (or sometimes not so local, depending on how much free time I have) Nature Center. Pack a simple lunch, bring a book to read, or a canvas to paint, etc. - and spend the day there. It is very refreshing and at least one definite way to bask in the love of Nature... daydream
