ashoka: How can man get back to the real nature of mankind in this cybernatic and self-alienated era?
You wanna go back to Neanderthal-Times,be my Guest. If you like to live without the Conveniences and Modern Medicine, let an infected Appendix kill you,or some other Infection do you in,because that will become a Real Possibility.

If you are serious...spend 20 to 30 minutes in silence in the morning and then the evening, before bedtime. That would mean - no reading, tv, talking, listening to music - nothing.
Do spend time in nature.
There are answers to your questions - within. There is a literally a guide, the essence, your soul that has answers to all your questions. One just has to listen to that voice inside. Another term would be called your 'intuition'.
Many have lost touch with this voice, but, it's there for all of us.
Thank you for your answer. Only you answered me accordingly and understood my question well. I am doing what you proposed to me since twenty years and it seems to me even though in minority but i am not alone.

If you can do with less,Hat off to you.
I agree to a degree with ashoka... while I accept, things like medical advancements and technology have improved our life on some levels.. you have to ask urself sometimes.. has modernity overall added quality to our lives?
Most of us are on the threadmill firmly anchored to it by job, mortgage and the like... so even though we have washing machines and dishwashers and microwaves.. to lessen our workload and increase our leisure time.. we are working harder (to pay the mortgage and put our children through school) so that leisure time is eaten up... and what about tv's, computers, and comp games.... ok they are fun... but so was conversation, children playing in the open air and meeting people for a lazy coffee afternoon...
I think Ashoka's point is a very valid one.. although not without the need for balance
