I left the forums for a month and a big part of the reason was that when I read that joke, all I could think was how a woman that was being bashed or had a history of having been bashed must feel reading it.
I imagine physically abused women feel alone enough without being made the but of jokes.

Hey Breezee, I remember the "joke" you were referring to... it was in poor taste but some people seem to find it easier to deal with things by making jokes. As I said I feel it was in poor taste, but I don't let things like that affect me, everyone deals with things in their own way...

I don't remember the exact joke but it was posted on a thread called the most tasteless or crude jokes... so while again I found it in poor taste, it did fit the category and I know the poster didn't mean to be insensitive... I think he just got a bit carried away.
