I was on an airplane...mexico-NY
I was on the cabin, cause the pilot was a friend of my dads....suddenly I heard there was a problem...another plane was flying at the same altitude...same everything...I ran to my seat...seatbelt on...the airplane moved up and the other one moved down...HOW? No idea..did they say...1, 2,3..you go down and I'll go up? Not at all....they just did it, if they both had done it the same way, down or up, I wouldn't be here telling you about it...

I believe everything happens for a reason. Certainly not a reason we may be aware of.
All is in His/Her control. We may not like it (or we may REALLY like it. It depends doesn't it) but we should thank God for all the good things we receive AND for all the bad. We will learn to accept those bad things and move on with this life.
It takes a lot to get me upset nowadays (apart from other drivers
) because of this approach.
He must know what's going on. He must be doing it/letting it happen for His own reasons. We'll find out one day.

Absolutely.. having God in ur life really does give u a sense of peace.. in the last few months I have gone through a lot.. different stuff which has touched on every aspect of my life.. but I just haven't let myself worry or lose heart and it has all worked out ok.. and I know with God in my life if will be ok.. I have nothing to worry about..

The biggest challenge is when we try to live other peoples lives. We should help where ever we can but we must protect our own ;ives as well.
There is sooo much suffering which we can't do anything about. It's so frustrating. But then this can at least put our own problems into perspective.
It's all karmic apparently. We suffer for our own sins. This means it's all my own fault which is even more frustrating. No one to blame!

Yes I believe in pure evil in the same way I believe in pure good.. I don't think he/she/it has anything like the power of God and I think his/her/its way of exercising its will over us is by preying on our human weaknessess such as fear, pride and ego... manipulation is its greatest vice.. free will does the rest JMO.. slightly 'out there' I know but JMV

very good post. I have in my life questioned the whole pain and suffering thing. in particuler my case I use to always ask why me? now I dont mean to offend anyone with this

I've been in that situation one too many times, not anymore though...whenever I go out and the friend thats driving is drunk I take the keys and drive myself...yes, we can always trust God, but we need to help him too peopleeeeeeeeeeee....hahhahaa....
