StressFree: Physically yes, but to reach the other planes, depends on our vibration. We never really die as energy beings, just transfer. Energy as matter, does not die, just transfers it's energy elsewhere. Think of an ice cube. When you take the ice cube out of the freezer, it's energy vibrational level speeds up, melts form it's slow vibrational form as solid and transfers into the air. And air is energy. So it does not die, but transfers. Hope that made sense gingerb.

btw, where in the hell is the guy who started this thread? I need more action.

Sorry ging, I left out a key element about our vibration. Depending on our karmic vibration, more negative or positive, then it shall transfer to it's corresponding plane of vibrational frequency in connection with our journey that can shift by the karma we have to work out.

Thanks luscious, glad to see you getting the point.....I like women who can understand me...wink

Well after all, you are next door. Kharmic vibration depends on poles you think? Like those of the magnetic north or simply how we might meet in a neutral surrounding?

All the same, you are a "cool" guy.

Tumpa: Therefore, nothing lost, nothing gained.

Which brings us back to the original question and age- old debate, chicken or egg.

Egg me on, for I so hate being called chicken!!

Nice spin there buddylaugh

gingerb: He was here earlier. It makes sense in so far as you explained it , yes. Now another question.... what about people who say they go into another realm and find bliss during meditation, or people who experience ecstasy and "see" things other worldly? They are not dead. What about the unexplainable that happens right here?

Their vibration changes and their soul is able to escape the body and adventure to other realms of existence. The type of meditation(chakra) is dictated in such that you can direct your subconscious(soul) and connect it with source so the travel reaches it's destination. Much like when we sleep and dream....but we can't control that in that sense. There is lucid dreaming(controlled dreams when we are aware), but that has it's limits as far as astral traveling.
Our souls are able to leave our bodies and experience other realms. I have done a shamanic drum trip...type of meditation, and what I experienced was real. The drums had a frequency that changed my vibration, even though my body was still here. Hard to explain, but it's like a splinter of your soul leaving your body. And our subconscious is essentially the core of our soul that connects to everything in the universe.

The hallucinogenic drugs alter your state of perception as well as parts of your genes in your body and brain. Thus allowing you to see other vibrations that are not visible when you are sober. Timothy Leary did much research on this and I studied his theories in great detail.

Thanks Stress, never used drugs, but some do, to get there. I read up on south american hallucinogenic trips by chewing some root, and the use of drums to induce travel, it's all very interesting.

I for one do not think you "watched the Matrix" and came up with this.

You are without any doubt on a road to self enlightenment, and this is an extremely good thing to be on, and you are no fool. It is not easy to figure this world and it's children out.

And even when you think you have something understood, something else comes along to make you re-analyze it all over again.

It is often us, the "navel gazing idiots" who question the validity of existing thought and try to find a new or alternative way to view this World.

Everything you said through in this thread makes a lot of sense to me and pretty much matches what I have "learned" through "experiences" which have not much to do with studying, mostly experiences "of a spiritual kind". I would have been pretty hard put to explain it as succintly as you have ... applause

I found that reading and studying helped me immensely in allowing me to be introduced to a range of subjects and aspect and opinions that I could not have done just by experience or asking everyone I met about what they had learned.

It's not the only way to learn, obviously, but I find it helps, fit more into this lifetime.

And the night closed in around those who dared to think, and they took their thought's and sometimes those of others and wrapped them into their bedclothes of cotton and otherwise, and the fools still think that all of this life will be solved with thoughts alone, and the enlightened do not speak of prophesies that serve only those that will illuminate only the initiated, and I tomorrow will still wake up still a fool and wonder what is really out there.

I have studied many religions and ideologies..my quest is for myself. If I share thoughts and feelings then I feel it a good thing..
Sharing love cannot be anything but a good thing.

My understanding of 'karma' is that it pertains to our experiences. Good, bad, or indifferent.

karma - a product of this illusionary world. Correct me if I'm wrong. wave

So, then, it would appear that we cannot escape it.

Go with the flow. Listen to your heart where the intuitive answers are.
