I think some people know they are a bad deal..They put on a front coz they know if you saw the real them...they would have no chance...

Wondering how (Sometimes) a man will fall/chase/pursue a woman in heels skirt.. make up etc..
then sometime after he has 'snagged her' .. isn't happy with the way she dresses any more.. too 'available'.. too attractive to other men?
THEN.. goes off her because she is starting to dress down .. and not look so good any more.. while he is back off oggling the skirts and heels elsewhere..
