I had a beautiful one, at work. It had a picture of Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" on it (brought it back from Italy)....... got back to work from 2 months in hospital to find it had been stolen!! Never got it back....
The one I have at work now is pretty uninspiring and the one I have at home is just plain red.

I change my backgrounds & screensavers, frequently. Right now because the American holiday of July 4th/Independence Day I have a pic of the American Flag & my screen saver alternates pics if the flag, fireworks & other American icons.

Don't have a mousepad - I use a laptop....but my desktop background is an awesome pic of my grandson...sleeping - that way when I shut down every nite....I can wish my baby nite-nite, and is a nice image to take away to slumber..... AWWWWWWWWW...

It is a picture of a portion of a fresco from Pompeii. Got the mouse pad at the Museum of Archeology in Naples. A souvenir.
