I once bought "how to be a perfect wife" or something like that and i was reading while on holidays with my ex and his parents...got the strategy?
My ex couldn't stand the book...
Anyway, it didn't apply to me. It was a best seller in the 50's in the US...i don't remember details about the author, but her recommendations were too submissive!
That sounds more like " How to loose a guy in one day"

I get all my books from the library or from Dad's library, but the last book I paid for was 'Interpersonal Speech and Communcation'. It sounds boring but was a great informative and hilarious read. I paid $38 .00 for it in 1990 something and I loved it! 1 example I will give is --one person telling a story and by the end of ten people--the story was so distorted it was funny.
crotalus_p: Oprah loves that book , on her website she has a chapter by chapter video guide to reading it , im not sure exactly what it is like but it’s worth checking out, I think it’s a case of read a chapter and then you watch the video
Thanks - I'll check it out - I'm already on chapter 5 - interesting.
The Mounting and Laminating Handbook, Chris A. Paschke (get your mind out of the gutter, it's about handling artwork).
A 340 page manual on my camera, a 180 page book on the software for my camera. Unix for idiots, The Be-OS bible, Photoshop explored, Filters and effects, ....... All I ever read these days are technical manuals. I wish I had time to sit back and read some Ann McCaffery or Steven King.
Dennis ( LOL I guess I have a few minuits right now, but I also have manuals to finish)
