We even went for counseling and he told him at first he would just slap me a little and when I still would not do as he wanted he had to use more force and thought it was alright

not forgetting out here .. i mean in India still mostly its arranged marriages and usually wherein u dont have much time to actually get to know the person and quite a few are happy and most of them last ..
