hmm i think people grow and learn over time so what our criteria for a soulmate are today might be little different tommorow. Sometimes to the extent that people may feel there is no need for a mate but feel the completeness in their own soul ..

So it varies i think with each stg in life u pass thro' ..

But i do think i have felt that wonderful feeling where its possible to think beyond .. much beyond ....

I think my soul mate took on long look at me and tried to trade me in for a newer model. When that didn't work he jumped off a bridge, because he sure isn't anywhere around anymore.crying crying crying crying

tufty: Soulmate not sure....
I guess somewhere, possibly

The words below tho, well, yes, I do believe are relevantPeople come into your life for a reason , a season , or a lifetime . When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant

Very well written.. thumbs up

Ah, but these people can be soul mates, too. This is what my late husband was...my soul mate, but only here for a REASON. He was the catalyst to getting me the rest of the way onto my life path, and we had unfinished business from the last lifetime together. He says we'll meet again next time (contact through a medium I trust...I'm not insane).

I don't know that there's another "soul mate" left to come into my life, but I'd sure love to find that kind of love again.

OK, as to above, now I know how the white box doesn't form sometimes...sorry, Tufty, but at least it gave you credit at the beginning.
