I know there are some know it alls on here or people who just want to start controversy.Take heart,many of us agree to discuss and to disagree respectfully.I just bow out when the clhidren start to call names.Like life I quess.If I have something to say,I do.I never get in battles on here,just get out of thread.

It happens, just as with RL. You will need to take it in your stride. If you see it as significant enough to leave, perhaps you are placing more importance on it than is warranted??

So far here is my experience about your thread creating. Personally I believe that if you want to "attempt " to make yourself popular , I wouldn't go about it by creating threads telling people how they should feel , think , or what they should or shouldn't say.
Also , not to burst your bubble, many people are here to have fun , talk , and meet new people, NOT be told how to go about "commenting" ,or posting as the rest of use refer to it as, since you feel the need to surpress the thoughts and thinking of other individuals.
You have to keep in mind that there are many people here that are from countries , and nations that do have opinions ideals that don't live in a society where they have to watch and worry about what they say in fear or retribution .
Just a thought for a simple mind fellow , to someone looking for attention .

Yes I agree, I am particularly unimpressed by Condescension... I think you can disagree with a person without implying that they are stupid, a liar etc.. I think it just comes accross as nasty.. which is not necessary.. I have said it before and I'll say it again.. there are people on here with whom my views are diametrically opposed... but they are just our opinions... which of course we are all entitled to... now the people behind the opinions.. different thing altogether... some of my favourite people here have completely differing views..
Lets just try and be civil people !!

perspectives are all they are... to take opposing perspectives as a personnel attack will get you off the track of your subject.
Some regardless of topic always and without meaning intentional insult or harm, make their responses personal ...its their writing technique or how they interact.
Some just have very strong personal feelings about a topic...
This is the Forums, to expect nothing but agreeable/logical/sensible responses is at best a fools mission.
