If a person is chubby and the person loses weight......then and only then does that person find another. When the one attracted by looks gets chubby shouldn't the person dump them and find a slim person to replace them. Is it not the same in reverse. Would not the same be for money, things, health, disablity, age......etc..... i know age is different but if they thought they were younger and even lied to. Then when that person gets older shouldn't the other find a younger one.

When a person loses weight often other things change as well.. they can become more energetic, more confident and happier in themselves... or who´s to say that person wouldn´t have fallen in love with them before they lost weight? Regardless... why would you leave a loving relationship for a payback? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!doh

Not for spite! Just getting people to think! fair is fair! If someone goes by looks then let them live by looks also. Looks are nothing...even the best can be burned and scared before morning or crippled. Why not date such a person already crippled or scared. it is the person inside that counts. If the other things pass does not love pass also, if that was the bases of the love. That kind of love is the love of self and there is nothing for me there anyway.

too much emphasis is put on looks and weight in my opinion in todays society. I have been "chubby" all my life and have lacked a social/dating life for it. I wasn't any different then than when I was slimmer having the same energy, the same personality. I accept people for who they are....are they self centered or kind hearted? To be attracted to someone "for me" doesn't mean looks and physique....its personality ( can he laugh at himself?), does he openly laugh at jokes? how does he treat me?
If he doesn't laugh/make fun of me, think or say I am stupid...or that I have too much weight and accept me for the decent person I am than perhaps things would start as a friendship. The guy friend I have now likes me the way I am but don't put on any weight....well....wonder what would happen if I do? Will he trade me in? I think I know where you are coming from Rilly.....I kinda feel it so to speak.........hug
