checked Sky News, BBC News, The Times, Guardian etc, etc,

I'm totally gutted..... apparently it left the ramp at 1.05pm and returned 30mins later... on take off the left engine was on fire causing the aircraft to leave the runway and split into..

Also the were 2 young children aboard...

I must admit I have had tears in my eyes since your post and looking at the news.. I was online andenjoying the Olympic Games,

I am truly saddened... I have flown many times from Madrid to the Canaries... Spanair is a brilliant operator... I'm lost for words..

My thought's are obviously with the familys of those who have lost loved ones.

GODSPEED

Prayers for their souls and the families left behind.
It's tragic to read this especially if you travel a lot.
Only proves that we never have full control on our lives.

CNN said about 100.But the number is not important.God bless their souls! They are going on a holiday. But look what happened.
How do you think? It s the man s life planned?I know a story about a man who went to a fortune-teller.She told him,he would died from a truck. The man went home, asked his wife to do the shopping and hadn t been gone out from his home.He looked at the world only from his balkony."Won t be happened."probably he thought "I m in my house ,trucks are on streets and highways."But one day a little child had played with his toy- truck several balconys above his. The child dropped his truck on his head, and all happened what the fortune teller said.

My mum phoned a while ago to see If I'd heard the news. Nothing on the Russian news, unless I missed it, but I've checked it out on the internet.

Very sad.
