O.K. I've got e-mails from guys s suggesting there's a little more going on. I thought the same as you. I don't want to over cook anything. I was getting paranoid about looking at profiles. Seems to defeat the purpose. Hi BTW

As far as just "peeking", not much importance...we all do it...just because you read someone's profile doesn't really mean anything, but, if someone is interested, they'll let someone know...even if it's just friends...or that's how I see it anyway...JMOconversing conversing

I look at profiles all the time and like it when people look at mine. It is another form of interaction...whether to learn more about someone or to let them know you show an interest.

Oh maan, rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing blushing You can log off and then check me out so I won't notice you mancrushing on mewink

That's what I do when I check out dude's profiles just to see what they wrote in their profiles.

I do that to certain ladies as well, just don't want to lead anyone on. So I log off and check out profiles so the posting experience won't be all high strung or something. Then again, I kinda stopped that and just go ahead and check out profiles. I don't mind if people noticed that I checked out their profile. If they get any funny ideas and check out my profile in return, I'm pretty sure my profile content will frighten them...lol I make it clear that I am not moving anytime soon or for anybody cause of my kids. Am I over thinking here?

StressFree: lol, okay, so I can look at dude's profiles in peace now

I too wonder when I get mail from some random lady and she has not even checked out my profile. I have had a lot of contact with somebody via here, e-mail, and phone calls, and she never looked at my profile once. Strange. She also did not show up when I was going to meet her....

Anyways, I do look at some profiles frequently without contacting them. I just like to look. I mean, if they live in America or somewhere out here in Europe and I live here, it's just a waste of time cause I don't have the heart for a long distance relationship.

By the way, SF, it was a scammer...laugh

Her profile has been deleted...damn she was good though!!

Mb,
I just had a couple guys e-mailing me from time to time suggesting that there was a little more than meets the eye going on with some of the site features. I think it's B.S. after reading these responses, I'm just going to take things at face value and call it good. wave

It wasn't sinister. It was more like idiots turning everything into some weird junior high school popularity contest. You know "dude, she all about you when she does that" I must admit, I did a little head scratching, but thought naaa that's got to be B.S. But I found myself hesitant to look at a profile, not wanting to send "signals". I thought I'd try a thread. Looks like my suspicions were accurate but I'm really inexperienced with this so....... Thanks for the responses.grin

I look at profiles out of interest and to check for possible compatibility. I tried to be pretty straight forward on my profile. I seem to mostly get emails from guys that are opposite of me or whom have not read my profile just liked the look of my pics. I don't mind when guys look at my profile. Just am wary of the ones that write me and say love your smile here's my number call me want to get to know you very much, distance is not a problem I have $$$$ and can move.etc. and they don't want to keep email through the site. sigh sigh sigh so I basically ask did you read my profile? with no just looked and liked what I saw. Why do they do that? Don't they want someone to read their profile and see if they have similar interests before they get emails from a gal?confused confused confused dunno dunno dunno dunno

Just have fun Bob...if someone e-mails you and is a scammer, have a little fun with them, and then report them.

If someone looks at your profile and you may want to talk to them, send her a flower...handshake

maybe someone already posted this...

lots of people dont look or have even turned off the funtion to look at who has viewed their profiles
so view away

maybe 1/2 the gals you view even know about it

you can also come to the site and not sign in and still view forums and profiles and NO ONE will know...

like the new pic btw
