My comment to you about not having had the xperience of raising children was meant to illustrate that until we are involved with it, we don't truely know how things will pan out. In spite of all the love advice and support we give our children we don't know what we are going to be faced with nor do we know how we will react to certain things, although we know how we would like to think we would react.
Some kids go by their parents morals and values, some kids rebel against them, some kids are a bit of a happy medium between the 2. We can never know!!

If the media was so pro Republican why didn't they go on about the appalling behavior of the Clintons in Ohio last week. To use a funeral of an Ohio politician as a campaign stop for Obama. That was tactless and tasteless.
