The Dem are at it again....wish to micro manage the Iraq war.
GWB troop withdarawl of 8000 is not enough for them. They want more troop sent to Afghanistan.......where the 'real fight is'.

:-)......Comprehensive military strategies are usually several 100 pages in long. I know, I have written them. Just brief operational reports are 4-6 pages long....I know I have written them.
If in four lines of verbage, Obama has a 'comprehensive plan' for the battle of Afghanistan...he is a better field general than Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Rommel, Patton, and Sitting Bull combined.

I think that Obama sends his attroneys to Alaska to vet Palin. He also sends PR people...that have some contact with the local media.
They decide to do lunch. During the lunch...Obama's PR man says to the reporter....what do you have on Palin? The reporter checks his notes......says I got this quote, that quote, and this quotes sourced.
Also got rumor of this, this and this with no names.

The other thing I will do is count the number of unnamed sources that the reporter has in the story. Compare them his other work. If all of a sudden he has a number of unnamed sources...that is not his normal practice of reporting. I have him again.

President Bush will announce Tuesday the diversion of some U.S. troops from Iraq to Afghanistan, in a speech that marks a turn in focus for his administration as it approaches its last four months in office.
"As al Qaeda faces increased pressure in Iraq, the terrorists are stepping up their efforts on the front where this struggle first began: the nation of Afghanistan," said Mr. Bush's prepared remarks, which were released to the press Monday evening.
"Afghanistan's success is critical to the security of America and our partners in the free world. And for all the good work we have done in that country, it is clear we must do even more," Mr. Bush will say.
The president has decided to send a Marine battalion — which are usually between 500 to 1,500 troops originally slated for Iraq to Afghanistan in November.
In January, an Army brigade — of 3,500 to 5,000 troops — will also go to Afghanistan.

Well foreign investment did not like Medevdev election. Getting a political handoff from Putin told them that democracy was in decline in the country. They don't want to risk investment where nationalization can occur.
Secondly, it also says that the Russian themselves are taking thier money out of the country. Rish Russians don't like the practices of Putin/Medevdev either. So are headed to safer markets to invest in.
Last thing. We got the cold war again. Yep....GWB has withdrawn from the nuclear disarnament talks.
