I would much rather not have any music playing, I want my total mind on him and music is distracting for me. I want to be able to hear his breathing and sounds he makes.
Like Granny from 'the Beverly Hillbillies' said... "Bed's for sleepin', not eatin'".... and certainly not for listening to the music... Doesn't it make you too distracted to listen to Pink Floyd (of all things) when you're about to engage in other activities?
stevenmature: This might have been asked before, but I R noob to the forum searching abilities...so the question...
What music do you listen to when you are finally at the point where the two of you are alone and in some kind of intimate setting.
I like and have always liked the sounds of Pink Floyd and more modern would be something like Rascal Flatts...
It really depends on what your partner is into. I perosnally like a R&B but I have been with women who prefer rock. It has to be something you are both into.

R&B is great, rock, as much as I like it, is not bedroom music. Something bluesy and mellow, not distracting but still there.
Actually, I mainly turn the stereo on to drown me out so the neighbors don't hear me, I cannot do it quietly. Doesn't really matter much what's on cause I'm not going to hear it.
Generally a piece follows a formula. The alap is the introduction.Sloooooow and improvised. Then the speed picks up slightly for the middle section before the finale in teental ( 16 beats) with the rippling sound of the tabla.
These pieces can last from 20 minutes to one and a half hours. No lyrics to distract the attention just masterful trance inducing playing.
gongman: Have a listen to some Indian music..............

I honestly don't think the sounds of a lovers enjoyment should be drowned out by music or lyrics..the creation of ones own is much better..(if your neighbours bang on your wall...tell them to play their own music)
bluebabsie: Jerry Vale....Sergio Franchi....Ronnie Dove....Shaun...Mannheim Steamroller....Engelbert Humperdinck....Mario Lanza....to name a fewbut..............................................NO ROCK!!![/quote hi ship...xxxx no rock??? ooohhh babe be good babe xxx
Hi, Babs....great to see you back
No No No rock in the bedroom. Only romantic music. Even when I am alone, I listen to soft music in the bedroom.
I would hate to get in the mood, just about ready to "do the deed", and hear "Highway to Hell" start blaring over the radio!!
