Two real oldies but very good:

Maltese Falcon - Does it exist??

Arsenic & Old Lace - Brilliant and funny..

Not as old but great film, Chinatown with Jack Nicolson

Also, one of the most moving films I've ever seen:

Whose Life Is It Anyway? with Richard Dreyfuss

Nosferatu.

I can't be doing with all these new-fangled films with their gimmicky sound-tracks. If I wanted to hear people talk I'd put the wireless on, not go to the cinema.
