I've tried several other dating sites before, and am now trying this one. So far with my time here, it's been the same old typical routine. I send nice emails to people that find my interest, only for them to be read and not replied to. In fact, the only time I ever get responses is from people I have no interest in dating, it's just them saying "thank you" to a compliment I had sent... because sometimes people deserve to be complimented :]
To this day (and it's been a good 2 years of dating sites) I have never received the initial email. I really don't know what's wrong here, do I seem like a serial killer or some nonsense?
stevenmature: its the rubic cube.. Didn't you know the ladies hate it?
Oh My SM, You look good enough to eat, will you come to my place for a visit.
I do understand what you are saying. I send out flowers but get nothing in return or a flower not saying if they would like to chat or whatever. Of course mine may have something to do with age. You on the other hand are very young, don't give up.
Maybe if I didn't have equally as unfortunate luck in person. I wont let myself ever lose hope, but I had better find a damn good wife someday to make up for this!
I think m ost of us and I think even the ladies will agree how####frustrating this site and all the others are. Some say have patience things will come together.Ladies I'M NOT LOOKING OR A WEEKIEND FLING.I'm not giving up sometime somewhere .Instead of doing anything stupid the last couple of weeks instead of drinking or anything ,I went to the store and I have been buying some non perishable food and toiletries for our local food pantry.I t feels good to do something for someone .It also takes my mind from thinking about how doing this is a waste of time .It seems like if your not a perfect man or lady that yourr just not wanted.Yeah it's frustrating but who know.Chip398

Good things come to those who wait...and I know the feeling.
May I make two suggestions? I'd lose the part where you say, "I'm a giant dork"...that's never a good thing to say, and can show a low self-esteem. I know you seemed to put it in as a humorous thing, kind of poking fun at yourself, but it could work against you too. I'd also change your primary pic to the middle one. Let women see the rubics cube one when they click on your profile 'cuz it is funny...but use the middle one as a primary. JMO.
Anyway, you look like a nice young man, and a nice-looking young man, and one thing you'll know for sure is that when you do find "the one", she'll really be into you for you. Good luck...and
In the meantime, live your life. You're young...very young. Also, keep working on being comfortable being you. Embrace being you, and don't try to be someone else...ever. We're all unique...it's just not always easy to find someone who appreciates one's uniqueness. But, it's well worth what you'll share when you do.

I'll have to disagree with you there, being a dork/geek is completely awesome. It's by no means a bad thing nowadays, at least to the people I enjoy being around :] The day I find a single geek girl that wants to date me is the day I'll dance like a madman in public (alas, subsequently it will cause her to lose interest).

The picture however, yeah... I'll change that now
Your staying true to yourself, that's a good start. keep the pic too.

I know its hard, but like others have said you are still young. Keep your eyes open, you never know when your going to meet that special someone. Good luck
