My thought process....clothes are made from some form of fabric...so where is the issue of a man wearing so called women's cloths and vice versa...in the tropics, some men wear sarongs..is that cross dressing?
Clothes are simply clothes..they are there to protect the body from the elements

Each to their own I suppose. All I know is I would not walk hand in hand down the street with my partner wearing one of my summer dresses and heels.
