HJFinAZ: She has been "single" for about 12 years now. Dated a few but was never satisfied with those she dated. Some of you have seen the cute blonde on the Harley with me, that is her.
About 2 years ago she met a guy on another site. Before she met him in person she was saying how he was not the right one for her, they had nothing in common, etc. Laurie is a personal trainer and Rich is a computer geek.
They have dated on and off the last 2 years, she kept saying negative crap. About 2 months ago she was going to break it off. This man truly loves her but told her that if he was not good enough to be on her merry way and wished her the best of luck.
I threatened to beat knots on her head. No person has ever treated her with the respect and dignity this man has. She finally decided to listen to the "Old Fart" one more time and hang in for the long haul.
This is the email I received this morning..
"Yes, we got married today on the beach in Kauai."
Maybe a little something to think about when being a little picky.. BTW, last Christmas, as a joke,when Laurie was asked by Rich what sh wanted for a gift, Laurie said "a rock" (smartass kid just like big brother). You ladies would be in awe of the "rock" he got for her..
