My theory is that a woman on her own can be filled with the memories of love to sustain her -
a man is more likely to be filled with regret and unable to love himself and cope with being alone as well as a woman........ older people alive today have also come from a generation where men did little in the house; doing something as complicated as boiling an egg is a bit hard for an old gentleman confronted with a lonely existence missing the love of his life beside himto make it all worthwhile.
i agree as women cope much better than men alone and are stronger generally

You haven`t turned on the heating yet?... Gee, most Swissies homes are like Saunas now - they walk around indoors wearing summer clothing!
... But not in my house ... we seeing how long we can hold out without turning on the oil heating - just using wood fires at present ......!

The ice caps aren't that old..The last 'ice age ' was 20,000 years or so ago..we are due one(ice age). The ice melts, raising sea levels and making big storms and in the process induces the odd volcano to explode..Throwing loads of dust about, blocking out the sun...And hi presto ice age.. Then the sun whacks out a couple of solar flares, thaws the earth and mother nature starts all over...Don't worry smoky it wont happen in your grandkids life...Maybe theres...
