My ideal holiday is one that I hope will become reality and that is to see Machu Pichu.

I would host a large dinner. My son who is no longer with me would be thereand many of the people I love and or admire that I rarely see.I would find a way to invite homeless and people alone to join us.Plenty of food for all,but even more everyone mixing an listening to one another and hopefully we would leave having learned something. Many smiles, lots of photos snapping and someone to help me clean up the mess when it's all over.
Since 18 I had always dreamed of a large country house,husband,8 kids, eventually grandkids all sitting arounfd the table sharing.Instead I sit alone and watch tv for company as I eat.Funny how we never know how life will turn out for us.

When I dream of my ideal holiday...

I am in a cabin on the side of a mountain with at least 12" of snow surrounding me

No contact from the outside world for those days..no emails to deal with..no phone calls to answer

No problems to sort out

Nothing form the outside world impacting on my peace and quiet

And having the Kamasutra to read grin

Ah , it would involve Halle Berry, Heide Klum, Salma Hayek and a pack of doritos and some salsa dip.

If that was meant for me, this year has been a
bit lean on the climbing front. Mainly due to such
a bad summer and other factors conspiring against
me.
I always go back to it though, its been a big part
of my life since childhood.
