I have heard in CA they are pushing for strictly "organic" meat...grin

Better make sure none of them non-organic ones slip over the hill and down Hwy.50 from Nevada....devil

Cebiche de Pescado, Unbelievable, delicious, white fish meal that I probably would never have eaten if I had known how it was prepared, in a sense, actually cooked. If anyone knows anybody from Peru, S. America, ask them, and you will get a glowing report of it.

Ohhhhh I love Cebiche, my favorite is prawn rather than fish, but it´s all good! The acid in the lime juice actually cooks the fish or shrimp so it´s not really raw.

Hi sweetie...my favorite way to cook them is to put about a tablespoon of butter with some minced garlic in a saute pan, saute for just a couple of minutes...don´t let your garlic get brown or it´s to strong... then add about a half cup of white wine and your prawns and a dash of salt.

Cook until they turn colour should only take 3 to 4 minutes in a hot pan

If you like a little spice then at the beginning stage add a few hot pepper flakes to the garlic and butter.

Yes. over a flame in a pan, or your wine would make a mess of your oven!laugh You can grill them under your burner, but I think it dries them out a bit, much more succulent done with a bit of liquid and the butter and garlic add great flavour!

The Italian "lardo" is fantastic. When I first heard what it was I didn´t want to try it, I thought it was really gross... but I tried it and it is amazing. It´s cured pig fat. grin

I also love apple pie with a slice of melted cheddar cheese on it

and Basil Ice Cream is delicious!

I don't know if anyone outside of the U.S. will know of this particular cereal, but I love Grape Nuts cereal with vanilla ice cream on top. The littly crunchy nuggets of the cereal combined with the ice cream is yummers! And as the ice cream starts to melt a bit, it makes the milk on the cereal nice and cold and creamy. It's one of my favorite decadent treats.
