livinglarge: well you sure as hell didn't respect me on "the car crash " thread ,
short memory

I am not responsible for whether or not you choose to dwell on one line of wording from gawd only knows how long ago. You are one person here who I rarely encounter & yet you chose to hold a grudge.
This is not my concern... as this is not what this thread is about.

Moving on...

PietroPaoloV: Come to think of it, claudya, maybe we should hook you up with gilly.
There could be some interesting offspring questions if you two got cyber jiggy.

My dear claudya I would tell them to put their comment(s) where the sun doesn't normally shine through.

When someone calls me sweetie, sweetheart, honey darling, I take no offense. It's just their way of showing endearment.

Sorry, I don't understand a bit of the reasoning behind it.
We're going to have new threads every time you feel someone's not treated you nice?

OK

Look, let me put it this way.
Either you girls start to pull one anothers hair and have one of those real great fights only girls can have, when you scratch each others faces with your fingernails, pull big lumps of locks from one anothers head, and scream all kind of high pitch words, or us boys will find this a boring mudwrestling.

dear - nowadays seems condescending a term but I understand in various parts of the non english speaking world it is a term that is still used as you describe more close to the origin- tis a little like nice perhaps too simple

It can be viewed as condescending and patroninzing depending on where you come from, also in the context it's used

Where were you, when we witnessed a senseless thread, made in what seemed like a drunken stupor?

Yes, "dear" is not a "bad" word, its only in how you use it, like most things in life. Anyway, nice that you have found yourself a niche here and people who understand you better, its always better to be where you feel comfortable.cheers cheers Darl!

Maybe you two should talk it over and shake hands?

I think it would be easier that way.
