smoky: No, I`m not sure if he`s alive ....... he seems to appear at any and every village function with that ancient old organ grinding machine - it grinds organs? He should have a monkey on his shoulder but its too cold here for tropical animals.
So he trundles this thing around for a few metres, stops and turns the handle and sings these wacky sounding old songs in the most horendous voice! Maybe there`s a recording device inside him or something similar to the thing in the machine he turns ..... one of those metal rollers with little knobs that click against something to make the music........
I think he is stored in a cellar here, or an attic, and brought out for festivals? ... quite likely.
Anyway, he seemed to quite like me ... wouldn`t go away .. kept on singing his songs. Maybe he had a loose connection in his innards?

Some of those Grinding Organs are worth a small Fortune.
One retired a couple of years ago,and gave his Instrument away.Didn't wanna call it by it's name for obvious reasons,since some Minds would have slipped Way Down!
