How come all the decent men and women on CS can't make a love connection (190)
I have wondered the same thing. Well they say I live too faraway, even though my profile says I am relocatable.Yet many others from various sites found their love in a different Country, went to that Country to meet them and one or the other relocated.I did not think that if you truly care about, and want to be with someone that you would let distance get in the way.Sometimes the right person for you could very well be from another country culture or race.Besides travel is so simple today, I was in the U.K for months during the middle of last year!Although I am tempted to give up, like you I still believe true love is still out there.All the best to you tainogirl, and may great things come to you in 2009.

the second one said she was my age and an attractive picture.. when we met, she was at least 10 years older then stated and VERY CLEARLY the picture had been taken many many years earlier..

I understand I flew to England 9 years ago and everything the man told me was a flat out lie! I made the best out of the situation and had a great time.
I could have sit around and pouted for days but what the hell would that have got me? I would still have owed money on my credit card from the trip.
To meet someone off here you have to put yourself out their and be seen and hope you make wise choices that next time.

After going thru most of the posts here, it seems to me that we are using the term "decent" loosely.
If somebody lies and pretends what he/she is not on the net, then it is no longer decency, is it?

OK since you ask so politely young lady.
What I don't understand is the sense of the initial question Decent or indecent. Expressed in a context they are like this or like that and they get a date and the others dont - I brought up my daughter, your age, in a decent unselfish way by staying with her mother some 15 yrs too long in an unhappy relationship not to perturbate her education etc.
She became a well known classical musician so I think it was worth it.
Now I only have myself to feed snd on this site now hardly a week obtained many reaction from stunning woman and several rendez vous are already planned.
It's fast sure, but why not, I don't get into complicated long email stories, just pick up the phone and jump on a plane - got nothing to loose - if she's lying or does'nt looks like her picture well the flowers she gets, the champain I drink it myself and the perfume from Paris stays in my pocket for the next one.
Now is this indecent, having an attitude 'be nice to me and I'l be nice to you' ? Will be the first one who goes of this site when the right person appears. But in the mean time lots of fun.

I think you are pretty much well figured out, and there are lots of things that I have figured out about myself, that are not pretty or pleasant, and I am not saying that you may find that, but they are part of me, who I am and what I am about.
I compromise that woman, or any partner does then I am doing myself a disservice.
