I guess we should all go back to the oh so enticing and educational polls of "Am I Screwable?" instead of having input and an opinion to some thought provoking threads.
Hmmm, I wood would respound reply butt but I dont' don't want too to get piked picked on for errorors errors in speling spelling
See what a pain in the butt it can be to edit ones work. I'm here to have fun, chat, get to know people and have a good time. If I make a spelling error, typo or grammatical error and someone doesn't like it.... Well that's too bad.
I find it very cheap, petty and rude for someone to take it upon themselves to correct minor spelling errors. In most cases the messages are clear enough. Surely there are more important things in life than raising ones self esteem at the expense of others.

In all honesty, I don´t think the OP was criticising spelling mistakes, rather, asking for opinions and thoughts on the matter. I´ve already posted my thoughts, and I would agree that spelling is not the be all and end all. However, it does concern some people for different reasons, as I´ve already said. Just the same as the constant threads about whether weight is an issue.
It´s not about being finicky or picky, nor is it being rude to point out that these things are also an issue with some people.

Thank you Jan, I could not have said it better - to be honest, I did not even want to respond to those posters - they did not and would never get it. I could have said again and again the same as you just did, it would not have done one good. So, I just let it go. Not worth it.

Hi Jan, I appreciate you and your comment but I have to disagree. I've been on the receiving end of one of snotty little corrective posts in the recent past. I didn't much care for it. Perhaps the one making these comments thought she was being funny, I didn't.. This thread seems to tie into that same mentality.

again. Right, it adds to the general negativity when this is actually a dating site.

He will never be able to get even to smell your footprints, that's why he is attacking you
Just ignore him - it is not worth it.
I wholeheartily agree...just someone who wants to start trouble.
