hopefloats: My exmother-in-law is dying with cancer. My boys are VERY CLOSE to her. She found it out a year ago last month. She had been in remission. Now it's back and the doctors don't know how long she will live. There's no hope unless she has a bone marrow transplant. None of the family even match. It will take up to four months to find a match for her. Having said that, she is denying the transplant. Her oldest sister just passed with the same a couple months ago. Please remember her in your thoughts, prayers and positive energy.

Merky, I'm sooo sorry!!
My ex-mother-in-law passed from cancer a few years ago. She died in September & my mom passed in December. I felt very bad for my daughter. She had a couple of brothers & sisters who also passed from cancer.My prayers are with you & your family right now, sweetie.

I will certainly say a prayer for her, you and your family. I've lost count of the number of people I've known and loved who have been taken by some form of cancer. It is not pleasant to watch them suffer, knowing there is nothing you can do.

I couldn't agree more. My Dad died of it. He was about 15stone during life, and was 8stone when he went. If world leaders stopped wasting money on war and space travel then a cure would be found a hell of a lot quicker.

They are trying a new kind of chemo right now. Hoping that some slim chance it might be effective. I will update everyone when I learn more.
