My exmother-in-law is dying with cancer. My boys are VERY CLOSE to her. She found it out a year ago last month. She had been in remission. Now it's back and the doctors don't know how long she will live. There's no hope unless she has a bone marrow transplant. None of the family even match. It will take up to four months to find a match for her. Having said that, she is denying the transplant. Her oldest sister just passed with the same a couple months ago. Please remember her in your thoughts, prayers and positive energy.

Thanks,
Merky

So very sorry -- will keep you in prayers and thoughts.

My brother died waiting for a bone marrow transplant -- it's a painful ordeal when your bone marrow stops working -- I hope that they find a donor sooner and she will reconsider.

When that happened to him -- our whole family got sampled - no one matched -- but one thing it did accomplish is that we are now forever registered on the National Bone Marrow Registry.

Everyone should do this -- they don't have to draw blood -- can do it with mouth swap now. Please...everyone consider this next time you are driving by your local blood bank or you see one of those mobile units outside a dept store...you could save a life and you might also need it to save yours as well...one day.

Merky -- I will be thinking of you and your boys sad flower
