Hello ,
Don't know about you but I think the site needs a special military & military minded chat room & leave the other one for ppl who are into game playing ..I'm serious about find my one & am hoping he's out there..as I'm very military minded I need someone who understands this himself..

Having said that if there is any decent , genuine ppl who can relate & want to post , pleae go ahead would be nice to talk to intelligent ppl;)

I have always been military minded ..naturally an in built thing ..a lot of ppl reallly do not understand unless they meet someone the same & hello ;)...really Army ? I see

I am a product of a father who had to "do the right thing" and sign up forthe Army in WWII. His father and a few uncles died during and from the affects of WWI. And apparently hated it and never spoke about what he went though.

My step-father was Air Force and did not say much about it until his later years when he found out his Unit was restoring a Beaufort Bomber and got around to telling a bit about his time in the Pacific. Managed to survive Milne Bay (one of the worst but decisive ones).

I was called up for National Service but was one of the lucky ones to miss out on doing it and Vietnam (Rob will tell you how lucky I am).

I do have an ex-military vehicle....bought after my mates hounded me for years at showing up at an ex-military event for so many years. Was a way of catching up with them after moving from Sydney to Melbourne.

If you are interested in the many weird and wonderfield vehicles, the Victorian Miltary Vehicles Corp (VMVC) does attend a lot events over the year. Army, Navy and Air Force. And hold their Xmas party at John Belfield's old Tank Museum where he has about 40 restored vehicles and another 100 in the paddock.

And the big event for most ex-Military enthusiasts is the Corowa Swim-in and ex-Miltary Vehicles gathering on the 16 March. Anything up to 200 odd (some very odd) vehicles on parade.

Yep, really army, medic with infantry and special forces, Grandad at Gallipoli, Uncles and Aunty in New Guinea, Dad in Engineers, Son going into infantry this year.Cousin chinook pilot. It's in the blood...lol

Can you create your own chat room with that in mind? I have never got into the chat rooms so I have no idea how they work. I suppose the site creators can't accommodate everyone's interests on here but the resources are pretty good to communicate with people so there are a few avenues with the blogs and forums to get your views and preferences out there.

You know I was always going to join the army when I was a kid . Even had a family friend who was a sargent in the army tell me what to do when I signed up.
Back then i was an idiot you had to swear alligence to the queen!!! I couldnt do it so there went my choice of military intel (no jokes )

Hell i even tried the cops but wearing glasses ruled me out
