IS THIS SITE DYING? (87)
Things have sure slowed down a bit lately Cruiser. Do the forums go in waves, do you think? Perhaps we need a few more people to start some threads and get some discussions going. We haven't had any lively debates lately 
Perhaps a few new faces joining in and some regulars returning would get things going again

Wash is traveling so wont be on for a while. Reo and Asha have decided to have a break while tey work out things, Martia I think was just busy with things. Curly I thnk is just having a break, not sure about the others.
I think we all get "over" things for a while, some take their profiles down, others just dont come online for ages.
The forums do seem to fluctuate with who posts and how active they are. Just depends on if there is enough to keep people interested.
Usually a big barney gets some activity but then after it dies down it tend to go quiet
so maybe we need to start a big barney??

Yeah from my experience the forums definitely go in waves LiLee - people come and go
Plus, as you mentioned, everyone needs to contribute and post threads regularly, it's no good sitting back and waiting for others to do it
The boards will pick up again and in the meantime, let's make sure we welcome, and respond to, new members as they pop up

Sorry to hear the dating side of this site hasn't been too successful for you so far but hang in there, others have found their match on here - there's no guarantees of course but time and patience may help

I don't know. I suppose it depends why one is here. If one is looking for 'local' potential partners, then this site doesn't seem to have a lot to offer Aussie locals in that respect.
I ended up going overseas.
I suppose it depends on the personalities of those online. I for one don't really get into the forums much anymore. Over the arguing and bickering in the international forums, and also over the whimsical threads that seem to appear there with really lame posts....
I don't have a lot to contribute to the Aussie threads either. Just not into many of the topics posted I suppose.
I tend to hang out with my friends now in the blogs and on facebook. I have many that I met here who I now keep in contact with regularly through that other social medium....
I'm not really looking for a partner any more, so I don't have a lot of reasons to be 'visible' here much any more.
Over the scammers that still hit me up.....
I suppose these are some of my thoughts and reasons for not being so active on this site anymore.
