I wasn,t carping on about the past,I was just seeking points of view about the passage from innocence to experience really,(Great English Poet William Blake dealt with this subject in his Songs of Innocence and Experience as did American author J.D.Salinger in his seminal novel Catcher in the Rye).
What I was asking was,is it better to go back to blissfil ignorance (if that was possible)or to continue to confront reality with eyes wide open ? Is it better to face full on the true horrors of what it can be to be alive or do you cover your eyes when it comes to the scary bit in the film at the movies ?
I wasn,t carping on about the past,I was asking a valid question relating to the human condition.
Clear ?
Thanks guys.
