I've drowned the flood And blackened my blood I could rip open the sky And make all the angels cry I could forever storm the earth Undertaking a life long search Always looking for what I seek From valley low to mountain peak I could even drain all the seas And still feel that empty void in me

About this poem:
Do you ever feel like something is just missing but you can't put your finger on what it is?
Kat...so nice to see you back...baring soul in concise, staccato lines...yes I/we do/did felt/feel that way sometimes/now...ok, did i qualify that enough?...yeah. ;-) drop a line or two while on the search, that way, A: you can trace your way back, 2: we can all enjoy your poetic wisdom.
Yes I have felt the void before. And if I looked it would just seem to get bigger. I know now the void is when I will my emotions to seize to be. When I start to feel again the void starts to fill.

Really great poem. I think we have all been there at some point. You'll figure it out. I wish you the best. Take care.
