HIS THRILL

Having to resist my love
Having to pretend I’m dead
Having to not feel, when all I do is feel
Are you doing the same thing?
Or, is your life the way it was meant to be? Your way….
Is your indifference real; was your love ever real?
Or, was it all just a thrill?

Hi, spnglish,
There is certainly no thrill for the narrator in Having to not feel, when all I do is feel. Though one person initially lets go, eventually both must; but, letting go is often a long, lonely process. Your words convey well feelings of anguish.
