I didnt physically bury my lover today. I buried my heart, that's lost and fraid. I buried a soul, that's withered away. I buried a love, that's departed astray. I buried a mind, that is lost in space. I buried a spirit, that use to have grace. I've buried a beauty, that's faded with age. My heart, mind, body & soul....i surrender!!! I live no more..
Talk about a sad poem. I remember going to a wedding and them asking for people to sing a song with the word love in it. I had to brainstorm for awhile to find one that was a happy love song. There are a lot of really good songs with the word love in them but not many with the happy joy joy feeling. I chose Silly Love Song by Paul McCartney and Wings.

Wow!Ilove the poem, hate the message.Only an angel could write like that. Don't let your light go out Stand up for love and shout, For she who's faith dims will be under sorrows whims, But she who is mighty of spirit Shall not see love to fear it.
That first line was going to be part of a sentence, but turned into a poem.Keep a smile on that pretty face.God bless.

I love this one, saying goodbye i'm sure is the last thought on your mind and burrying your lover is more emotional, only the heart knows.Love your words and hope you find peace

Cherry this is really beautiful! Full of insight! It is very true, sometimes it is best to bury these things in order for us to survive for the moment; move on; rebuild ourselves. When our source of pain is out of sight; out of touch; we can survive and recover better!
Hi thanks so much orient sometimes we forget and it's nice to have that reminder how to move on, thanks for your insightful ness from poem...appreciate it
