Hand in hand we climb the ivory stairs To Heavens castle free from daily cares High above the mountain lakes so clear To be entwined in love without any fear
Then tonight we'll attend the grand ball Seeing the feelings shared among lovers all After the golden carriages arrive all gleaming The look of love in their eyes beaming
There the ladies and men will all attend While their hearts and souls tenderly blend While dancing through the misty haze Bound one to the other for all their long days
You're in ruby slippers and a gown of midnight blue Sparkling with silver and gold ribbons running through The ornate diamond gates open to the masquerade Hand in hand each knight with his loving maid
As we appear all there are in shear awe Such lovely beauty none ever before saw By his look they knew to him you belong To be his Queen, lover, and bride was the first song
By his royal decree he selected you to be his Cinderella His chest swollen with the amazing pride of a lucky fella For all now see true love and see neither shall pretend That our happy ever after dreams will never come to an end

Thanks it is so nice that others like my poem, it inspires me to write more. I hope others find that to, and it gives them that extra little something and get them writing as well.
