I will miss so many things
Talk of Princes and Kings.
Passion holding pass the time
When I thought you might be mine.
There is a change within me
A clearer picture now I see
Not one of you and me unfortunately.
As it seems the sadness there be
Can see the forest for the tree.
We did have a lonely spree.
When did the feelings begin to flee?
Now believe it was never meant to be.
Things can change, how funny
Can’t bring it back with love nor money,
Not even sweeten feelings with honey.
Warm smiles and your laugh
Sad that they didn’t last.
No longer blinded by your charms
Yet, still not easy to leave your arms.
Push myself away I must
For now I lack the trust.
But to continue would be insanity
So I mid farewell to thee.
